Site Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Site Engineer to join our team and contribute to the installation, maintenance, and support of Audio-Visual (AV) systems at various project sites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AV installations, a strong understanding of electrical layouts, and the ability to execute tasks with precision, safety, and efficiency. This role requires close coordination with project managers and engineers to ensure high-quality project delivery within timelines.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience: 3–8 years of experience in installation, maintenance, and support of AV projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team at project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive project briefings from the Project Manager/Engineer and understand site conditions and assigned tasks.
• Interpret conduit layouts and carry out conduit installation as per design.
• Lay out, tie, and label cables according to the drawings and specifications provided.
• Prepare and make AV connectors, ensuring proper termination and interconnections.
• Install AV products and equipment in accordance with site requirements and safety standards.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for installed systems and site equipment.
• Ensure efficient use of company resources, minimizing wastage of cables, connectors, and materials.
• Maintain security and proper handling of tools, equipment, and inventory issued.
• Complete all assigned tasks within the stipulated time frame.
• Submit periodic progress reports to the Project Manager/Engineer.
